Umm, where else do I go from here? I've been doing this wacky game journo thing for ages.

Did my thing at Home Theater magazine back east, moved out west to work in the gaming / tech space full time. For a couple years, I got mixed up with that wacky German experiment known as Incite. Then, since I apparently hated print, I signed on with CNET.com just before the Web bubble burst. Good call on that one.

After that, it was time to strap in for the long haul at Computer Gaming World / GFW / whatever-the-hell ya call it now. And, of course, the rest of the 1UP-verse.

(and wrote for just about everyone from Playboy to Popular Mechanics in-between).

Up until about a week ago, I was all about the Ziff Davis empire. My old blog, gfwdarren.1up.com, is still up if you're really bored. I plan to post up all my old articles at some point, but for now I'm just rolling with the new at PC World.
