Dedicated server is good as it means that there wont be issues with exceeding bandwidth. Also more flexibility than you would get with a free domain/forum etc. I think that it is a good idea all it needs is people to police it and members to shape it

They are annoying because they store vital information like email addresses and web links and then attack them too. Ones like google are safe because they just use the info for google listings spam bots just attack anything they can.
