I've been writing about video games since I was a British Literature major at Northwestern University 5 years ago. I'm a freelance writer with a penchant for gaming, so my powers combined to create ChicksDigGames.com, a very new site that is still in its formative stages. I write about gaming and its relation to gender and culture. On my site I write reviews and articles that are socially contextual and authentically critical. I have written in other venues as well and hope to continue to do so. I do freelance writing about gaming and other topics and am always looking for more. I'm a multi-tasker and in addition to knitting while gaming, I like to have several projects going at the same time.
Saw on other-Andrew's page that you live in the West Loop. I live there also. I didn't think any game journos lived in Chicago, much less the West Loop (Or in my case the near west side.) So cheers for proximity.
He's more than that--he's a puzzler among normals. Or something. I'm not entirely sure what he is, but Id o know that even though he's not real, he's better than me, and always will be. Yet I can't hate him for being who he is, because that would only remind him of a puzzle.
