Actually I haven't been working towards an English degree (since the English department at my school really proves its worth when you're in the graduate level) or a Journalism degree (since my school doesn't have a journalism program). I'm almost do…
I've been working with journalism for quite a while now and have spent time running a university newspaper, managing a consistent staff of around 35 after building it up from a consistent staff of 10. I have also earned necessary experience managing an editing staff and working as both a copy editor and section(s) editor. Now I'm just trying to get freelance work to get my name out there, build up my clips and resume so that I can get a regular job. One of the things I love to do is politically analyze games, game-based fiction and movies.

I just checked out your profile after you commented on my GamesJourno/Porn Thread, and I noticed you're from Chicago so I thought I would say hi. I live there too. I just moved to the North side in Lincoln Square just off the Red Line, though I spent the last few years in the Pilsen/Little Italy/UIC Area.
