I've been around the online video game writing block and have finally settled with JayIsGames.com as my preferred roosting spot. Long live the independent gaming scene and free online games! Oh, and I also like my DS and Wii.
When not writing, I enjoy long walks in circles around my living room, standing in a creek and pushing sand with a stick, world domination, and talking in third person.

Hi John,
I've been considering sending a letter of introduction to the folks at JayisGames, and I remembered seeing on your profile that you do some work over there. I was wondering if you could share a bit about your experience as an employee of the site. Would you recommend applying?
It's always great to be able to hear the opinions and experiences of others who have worked at a publication, so if you find a few free moments, I'd love to hear from you.
If it's easier for you, feel free to contact me by email at agroe0@gmail.com (that's a zero before the @.)
Hey John, thought id start by thanking you for your website, has been very helpful so far.
Was wondering if you would mind taking a look at a draft of a review ive written and give me any pointers/criticism about whats good and bad with it?
I'm in the process of reading your blog about the video game journalism business and just trying to get my name out there as a future freelance/staff member. Anyways, the blog is really helping me out so update it some time or take me on as your apprentice, haha.
