Hi! As you can see, my name is Ian, I'm 21 & live in Australia.
A small township on the south-east coast called Batemans Bay to be more precise.
Now I love video games & Im not afraid to share it! Being influenced by games, I'd have to say if I had any superpower I wanted it would, without a doubt, be the ability to eat food at much higher temperatures than the average human being. This would enable me to eat all the world's hot food stores & make the world starve to death on nuts & jam... Apart from that I'm a pretty typical, easy going guy who loves a good drink & to get his dancing goggles on!
Also, since this is a game journos site, I recently landed a spot on the team at Koku Gamer & was promoted to Lead PC Writer so I'm pretty keen to get out there & start networking with you guys & girls!! So don't be scared, grab a drink, get a controller & share some time with me!

Lol it certainly wouldn't, IGN don't like to have a personal flavor to their articles... Whereas The Escapist is much more focused on the writer & their feelings

I have to say I disagree with this, no offence, it's just my opinion. In my experience alot of people don't appreciate unsolicited work like that. Again, just my opinion but if it works for you, go nuts by all means!
Hahaha, you have a brilliant writing style, I loved the Endwar review & the Sam & Max review was also tastefully done. To be honest though, I didnt read the UFC review as I can't stand UFC, so nothing against you personally lol.
I'll have a look ...
Heya Paige, your stuff is really well written! I think it's abit shitty you've been forced out of your job, you certainly are the one of the best on the site. All the best with finding a site to write for (unfortunately mine is full, in terms of r...
Heya Leigh,
when you're freelancing you often only have a few minutes to impress the potential employer and get the job, so you need to come out with guns blazing. Your three most important tools in this respect, if dealing with the employer in-pe...
In my experience, it really depends on where you want to go with it. Most corporate positions will require a degree in either an English or Journalism, however, you will seem to find that the majority of them will take skills in lieu of this. That...
