Freelance Game Journalist working (currently) for TheOlderGamers.com and SnackbarGames.com. I've scaled back my reviewing work because, frankly, it's not worth the effort and the time. I've seen enough shady things in one year of work that I can safely say it's not an industry I'd enjoy in the long run.

I live in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area with my wife, and newly born sorn, Logan, several cats, and one annoying dog. Along with video and PC gaming, I'm a huge soccer fan who both plays and watches the sport at the National and International level. Like most of us journalistic types I enjoy reading and writing and I also find myself strangely addicted to a wide variety of enjoyable boardgames. My current favorites include HeroScape, The Settlers of Catan, Tide of Iron, and many more...

BABY BORN!!!

First child on the way!

Am I ready to be a dad? Not terribly sure but the time as they say, is "nigh." My wife and I are now here at the hospital waiting for our first child to be born. Quite an exciting and uncertain time (we decided to let the sex of our first child remain a mystery until its birth). Strangely, our hospital provides fast wireless in every room (but that's not entirely unexpected with Minnesota, winner of Popular Mechanics most high-tech city in 2004/5, iirc) and without a lot of heavy labor going on… Continue
