Our company
www.atamia.com is currently developing a community based video games hosting website:
www.faceoffgames.com. The journalist preview of the site will be available on 20th November, 2008.
In the age of information the buffet of journalistic content is prolific but finding quality is rare.People tend to make decisions on which page to view based on Google search. Fast food digital entertainment is everywhere - video replays are devised to meet the average attention span but we want to entertain in the best possible way holding our audiences' attention and loyalty. We need good writers to keep clients hungry.
The question is can you entertain us and them?
We want writers to pen reviews for us on all aspects of the video games industry and the games produced. It is important to us that honest reviews and interviews are given to facilitate the improved development of games!
Exactly what kind of content you may ask?
The articles produced for our site will cover:
* All platforms.
* Indie games
* New commercial game releases and review of old games.
* Major events such as E3, CES, DDC, Leipzig etc...
* Interviews with people in the gaming industry.
* Interviews with our gamers.
* Clan interviews.
There will also be other content elements introduced over the course of time as we are developing associated services to compliment the games we will be hosting. For now these services will remain confidential.
What length are the articles to be and in what quantity?
All this is open. It depends on the topic and writer. However, we would expect articles to range from 500 to 5000 words depending on the context.
Reviews can be given under pseudonyms if you prefer.
So if you would be interested in providing content for our soon to be established website:
www.faceoffgames.com , please outline your proposed fee structure and any terms and conditions of business you may propose for our consideration.
Hopefully, we can accommodate your wishes and prepare a formal contract for your approval.
If you have any queries, please feel free to contact us by email or during normal office hours by phone.
Should you know of any other talents within the journalistic community who would be interested in contributing to our site, please feel free to pass on our details.
We have and will only consider people who we feel can maintain the high standards we set for ourselves. The quality of content and our reputation and that of our contributors is paramount to us.
In reply we would request that you give samples of your work and a previous history of publication.
Please email michael@atamia.com in reply.
Kind regards and thank you for your consideration of the above.
